Our story

We're lifelong skiers and started Yardsale because we believe the best moments in life happen outside. It’s not about perfect weather or being first to the lift line or trailhead, it’s about the small things and the in between moments: sunrise coffee at the cabin, laughing off a "yard sale" on the slopes, or hanging out around a campfire after a long day in the mountains.

We believe your gear should make getting outside easier, not more complicated. And that looking good makes you feel good. That way, you can focus on what matters: connecting with your friends and family, exploring new places, and creating the memories you’ll tell stories about for years to come.

We built Yardsale for those days and moments. Whether you're skiing in deep powder, hiking from hut to hut, or catching a flight to your next destination.

We founded Yardsale in November, 2023 out of our basement in Cole Valley, San Francisco.

Our office, warehouse, and future retail store is located in San Francisco's Cole Valley at 925 Cole Street.
